Hi All!

We will be hosting a Meet N' Greet at the Milford Petco this Saturday, November 17th from 1-4 PM. We have lots going on: some new foster dogs are arriving, we are doing a 50/50 raffle for the "Final Stretch" of completing our kennel, and we're gearing up for Santa photos. Please join us and help spread the word! -Gemma

This site was not created to push the ideals of the racing industry or the anti-racing lobby. This site is dedicated to the adoption and post-racing care of retired greyhounds as well as a place to keep informed of PWP volunteer events. Period.

Discussions like this polarize volunteer organizations and in the end do no good for the organization or the cause it supports. Questioning one's "devotion to the welfare of greyhounds" because their ideals don't fit…

I am sad to say Abilene passed away this morning,he was almost 9 and I was lucky to have him almost 7 years.abilene was a sweet boy,a talker,and could even open the fridge!he will be greatly missed by me and his 2 brothers,,who I am still lucky to have.

sadly, i had to have buzz put down today, his old legs gave up on him and he was unable to get himself up.buzz was my 1st grey and a very sweet boy, i was lucky to have him for 12 and a half years, and lucky enough to see him turn 14 this year. because of him i have had 5 more adoptees, and am lucky to have my three boys now.goodbye boligee buzz, you will be missed

Well we just picked Brandon up from the vet's office. He was the last dog in surgery today and he is *very* groggy. He can't walk a straight line, more like he's trying to do a half pass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLTOmF-vnvo . But he's very cute. Penny has asked me to post a "few" words on what it takes to become a therapy dog. I evaluate dogs for Therapy Dogs Incorporated. WWW.THERAPYDOGS.COM. I do the testing at Griffin hospital in Derby. The testing consists of three seperate visits, the first being the initial test.
