Discussions of Racing

Dear Members of PWP,

This site was not created to push the ideals of the racing industry or the anti-racing lobby. This site is dedicated to the adoption and post-racing care of retired greyhounds as well as a place to keep informed of PWP volunteer events. Period.

Discussions like this polarize volunteer organizations and in the end do no good for the organization or the cause it supports. Questioning one's "devotion to the welfare of greyhounds" because their ideals don't fit yours is chumming the waters for a fight. That is not what this group is about.

The volunteers of PWP, both pro- and anti-racing, spend a great deal of personal time and resources furthering the cause of greyhound adoption. Discussions like this have other places they can be aired; not on this site nor in the ranks of our valuable volunteer base.

Please refrain from further discussion of the topic. All such discussions will be removed from the site. I hope everyone can understand the site's position and the reasoning behind keeping this site free from the racing debate.
