Dear Members of PWP,

This site was not created to push the ideals of the racing industry or the anti-racing lobby. This site is dedicated to the adoption and post-racing care of retired greyhounds as well as a place to keep informed of PWP volunteer events. Period.

Discussions like this polarize volunteer organizations and in the end do no good for the organization or the cause it supports. Questioning one's "devotion to the welfare of greyhounds" because their ideals don't fit…

Hi folks,

Welcome to a greyt new place for PWP friends and volunteers to interact.

At the last volunteer meeting it was discussed that the Yahoo! group was rather cumbersome and not very friendly for casual messaging or forum type discussions. I knew that Bob Vessley, PWP's former Webmaster had a rather interesting site, fastdogs.com and I discovered this Ning network.

She is not a retired racer nor purebred but her mama was definitely primarily greyhound by her looks. She & her 3 pups were at our local SPCA. I have pics of all four dogs I can post. Would love someone to take a stab at what our girl might be mixed with. If anyone has any pointers(with me being a newbie here) I would greatly appreciate it.
