Many of you already have heard about the old brood mom Snow Tiger we brought in from Kansas,. For those of you who havent im gonna tell you the story.
A while back one of our volunteers got chatting with a vet in Kansas about some of the old golden girls who needed homes.
She asked if we could take one in if she volunterred to foster her. I was a little unsure as we have trouble finding homes for young greys but decided that yes…

I would like to correct an error I made in stating there were 4 euthenizations, there were 3 with one splint injury. 1 Euthenization is 1 too many.

Ms. Zwart..I understand you and your daughter Crystal Zwart, are the president and vice-president of PWP.I read an article online written by an EBRO track representative crediting you as a racing Greyhound owner and Crystal as a trainer of these dogs in the TA kennel.
"David Shomper and Crystal Zwart take care of their dogs. They have TA kennel and CZ kennel. Crystal is the vice president of an adoption group in Connecticut, ran by her mother, Penny Zwart".

This EBRO injury report is from May21-July5, note your daughter's kennel TA which had 5 injuries resulting in 4 euthenizations(Page9).

I want everyone to see the effects of Greyhound racing. This is only 1 track during a 60 day period which happens to be the same (EBRO) that you own and race dogs at.It's also the same kennel (TA) which your is a trainer. After reading these stats I would like to know how the board of directors for PWP could ever consider you and your daugher as viable candidates for President/Vice-Preseident of a Greyhound adoption agency. It's the pinacle of hypocracy.

Penny...I am disappointed to say I received no call today from you or Cindy as you told me to expect. I would expect better from an adoption agency. Please do not make me wait longer as you know I have waited over 6 weeks already per Cindy's recomendation in adopting one of the dogs you would be receiving Sep 16. I called you and left you a voice message with my contact information. I also emailed and called Cindy.
Ted
That sounds great, Cindy has my cell phone and email information as well.
Thanks
Ted
Hi Penny...Did you receive the dogs you were scheduled to get today? If you did please let me know as I'm still very interested in adopting a pup.
Thank you
Ted Johns
Ms. Zwart,
I understand the mistake and I appreciate the correction. Whenever you are able to make the names of the dogs available I would appreciate getting them as well as their injury records from the tracks they raced at.
As far as preference, I would like to adopt a male between 2-4 years of age or a female no older than 2. I also would need to have my Greyhound Leah meet these dogs to ensure compatibility.
I can be reached any time via cell or email.
