Doctoberfest update and other news
quick update on the weekends events
October 22-24 2010
doctoberfest was a huge success we raised a nice amount of money for the greyhounds as well as two other organazations and the Dr Luibi animal awareness fund. Next year has already been reserved all will be the same except for the night we are going to hold this event on a saturday night so more people can attend. We are already working on our next event so stay tuned. It looks like 2011 will be very busy.
In May we have the Dennis Dawid Walk with the animals date to be announced soon. June will be our 16th birthday bash october will be doctoberfest. So we are going to be very busy. Not to mention the local meet and greets we hold to promote adoption. Currently in foster we have
Quarter wht/bd male who is cat safe, Outlaw who has a possible adoption pending. Jan red female who is not cat safe. Kay who has a potential adoption pending and Pops a red male who is not cat safe as well as Griffin a blk non cat safe male. Also we have scout our stakes dogs( possible adoption) Unfortunetly we have a 9 year old brindle male being returned he is cat safe and has been in a home for 7 years. Family changes are the reason he is being returned. Im hunting for a foster for him now.For the next few days i will be out of commision but the VP crystal will have my phone and computer. Im having explaratory surgery. I will also be enrolled in school on Monday and Wensday nights so if you need to reach me dont panic if i dont get right back to you. If anyone can foster this poor old guy let me know.
