I've ratcheted up the security of the site due to a large number of attempts to spam the site. I used to let anyone sign up, but what happens is that spammers sign up, probably through some automatic means, and then attempt to leave a blog post selling you any one of a number of popular drugs. I got tired of deleting blog posts (they never posted since I put the approval process in play) so I'm putting an approval process on signups. All anyone needs to do is identify themselves and leave a message to apply. It's not an exclusive club, just one without Spammers.

I've also added some general questions to the signup process, where I require folks to introduce themselves and explain their interest in greyhounds. Thereby hopefully approving only true members to the site. ;)
