Greyt Times Classes for Greyhounds January/February Schedule

The Smartydog Center
Proudly Announces
Greyt Times

Greyhounds are smart and they love to learn.
They just aren't big on the sit & down calisthenics
which are the foundation of many dog training classes

Greyhounds usually do not have the same
training issues commonly found in other breeds,
therefore the type of training & activities they need is different.

Greyhounds love to get out of the house and spend time
with their owners learning new things...
there is joy in learning, joy in accomplishments
.

We've done this with two of our guys and I was so surprised how happy and excited they were.  It's a really great program, I would recommend it to everyone!

Sounds like fun - where is the Smartydog Center?
Good question! They are in Cheshire, not far off 691. Here is their website http://www.smartydog.com/
Malibu and Skyy went last night and had a blast. We practiced jumps, weaving, and they both went over an a-frame (the triangle shaped agility equipment that dogs have to climb up and down). We also did some trust exercises, walking through the rungs of a ladder and over a 2x4 and a seesaw. It was a total blast. The trainer is very patient and knows how to work with greyhounds - ANY dog (barring physical limitations) can do this and have lots of fun.
