SUMMARY:Walk With Greyhounds
DESCRIPTION:To commemorate Dennis Dawids' contributions to PWP we will
  hold our first annual Walk With Greyhounds in West Haven CT on the be
 ach, a place that was Dennis’ regular walking spot for his dogs Snow
 y and Damon. Many West Haven residents saw these dogs with Dennis and 
 spread the word about greyhounds.\n\n\nWe ask that you ask friends, fa
 mily and associates to sponsor you in this walk. We will begin the wal
 k at the Oak Street Parking Lot at 1pm. A registration table will be s
 et up beginning at 12pm. We ask that participants please register and 
 drop off their pledge donation forms prior to the walk beginning. We w
 ill take the boardwalk to the intersection with Beach Street then retu
 rn to Oak Street. The walk is approximately 1 ½ mile in length. If yo
 u prefer, a shorter walk will also be available.\n\nWe are hoping that
  this event will not only be a successful fundraiser, but will also he
 lp raise awareness for greyhound adoption in the community. We are mak
 ing a major push for media attention at this event. For that reason we
  are hoping for a large greyhound presence. If you can’t contribute 
 your time regularly we ask that you set aside this one day to celebrat
 e the love a greyhound has brought into your home and help us bring th
